Question by Dan: What is the traffic like in or aroudn the area of Seattle, Washington?
I’ve been doing some research lately on Seattle. I live in Wisconsin and am hopefully looking to move to Washington here in the next few years. Please help me. Does anyone know what the traffic might be like. Is it a good idea to drive there or am I better off to just fly. I know that the drive alone from Wisconsin to Washington is a little over 2000 miles but I am willing to travel by vehicle. If anyone has any answers that would be Excellent. Thanks.

I live near there. It really all depends it can take me anywhere from a half hour to 3 hours to get to seatle. It really depends on the time of day and if there are any accidents or road work.

I am moving from butte mt to the seattle area, and need to find the cheapest way to live. I dont care about the people that are around me, for I will only be there a short amount of time, maybe 2 weeks till i find a job and a place to live. I fI could find a place for $ 175.00 a week that would be great!

$ 175 a week does not go far in Seattle. There may be some cheap motels North of Seattle on highway 99 in Lynnwood or North of Lynnwood and they look like they may be in that price range. I think there is also a Hostel in Seattle near Seattle Center that might be cheap.
