This is my fave. At the end of Wisconsin Ave and right on the water (The Edgewater…). It has free parking below the hotel and anyone can get in there. You can’t see the water from the banquet hall, but they do have an area along the water where you can hang out and eat outside if the restaurant is open (see other Edgewater video). Heather and Jeff got married here and so did Jen and Ben. It’s within sight and walking distance of the capital. Beautiful inside.

I’m planning to move into an apartment near the Bry Mawer Red Line stop. I’m a fairly large man, should I be too concerned about travelling by foot at night? Also, is there good paying work to be had in the neighborhood for a college educated person or should I expect to commute downtown?

I want to know what I should go fishing for and what bait to use this weekend when I travel to Edgewater. It is right by the Indian river, which is where I am going to fish. I was originally going to just buy some live shrimp and cast them out with a bobber or weight. I don’t Have a BOAT!

I’m looking to get from Edgewater to Cicero daily, and it looks like I’ll have to take the red line to the pink line. Any idea what station is in Edgewater. What’s the best way to pay for an ”L” ride? Cash? Prepay? Do I have to pay for a transfer for going fron red line to pink line?
