Question by i: How can I post on craigslist if I am not located in the city?
I recently tried to post a craigslist ad in Seattle under services: lessons page and was ghosted after first post. I do not have a Seattle telephone number and my IP address was not near Seattle either.

Thanks!

You can get a phone number with any area code you want. Just go to Vonage and get one. And plenty of people post for national things on local Craigslists.

Seattle Waterfront. Tourists walk on Seattle’s waterfront under the Alaskan Way Viaduct on a sunny day. Passenger ferries travel in Elliot Bay. Circling seagulls charm the chattering crowd. Aromas pepper the briny air—freshly baked waffle cones and steaming baskets of fish & chips entice you. You sidestep to make room for a passing jogger and smile as a young couple poses for a photo. Signs call out: Fresh Oysters! Souvenirs! Buy your tickets here! Perhaps you came to browse the eclectic souvenir and curio shops and taste the fresh Pacific Northwest seafood. Perhaps you came to catch a ride to the beautiful islands of Puget Sound. Or maybe you just came to relax on a pier and enjoy the romantic Waterfront views. Where else could you find all this and more? Downtown Seattle’s Waterfront, of course. Seattle has one of the most magnificent, awe-inspiring seaports in the world. And the Port has designed things so that you can revel in the waterfront’s natural and man-made charm. Dine, shop or play at Bell Street Pier. Take a spectacular cruise to exciting spots in Alaska or the Pacific Northwest. Attend exciting events held at Port facilities. Visit the many trails, bike paths and other public access sites of the Port. Sightsee around Puget Sound and on the way to Victoria, BC on the high-speed Victoria Clipper catamaran. Departs from Pier 69. Watch the sunset over the Olympic mountains from Shilshole Bay Marina’s promenade. Dine and shop at the homeport of the North Pacific
