My partner and I are considering moving to the Edgewater neighborhood in Chicago, Il. Is this a gay friendly neighborhood? We are "gay dads" and have a son that we adopted when he was 8…he’s now 16. Any advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I am planning on spending New Years Eve in downtown Seattle. I am not from that area, and want to know which hotels you’d recommend downtown that are close to the bars/clubs. Also, which bars/clubs are the most fun on New Years Eve?

I’m moving to Seattle / Capitol Hill from Minneapolis the 1st week of October. I’m on disability and my funds are limited. So I’m looking for a cheep motel, could even be a ‘mom & pop’ motel, that offers really inexpensive weekly rates.

I’m planning to move into an apartment near the Bry Mawer Red Line stop. I’m a fairly large man, should I be too concerned about travelling by foot at night? Also, is there good paying work to be had in the neighborhood for a college educated person or should I expect to commute downtown?
