Hi, my boyfriend and I are thinking of flying into Seattle, staying a few nights (Green Tortoise hostel?), then taking an Amtrak to San Francisco and staying a few nights with the boy’s family. Does anyone have suggestions for things to do on this trip? Thanks!

I need to find the cheapest place to stay near sea-tac. I know there is a green toroise hostel in seattle, but i dont know how close it is to the actual airport.
also, whats the deal with transportation there these days? is it still just the bus, or is there actually a light rail now?

My roommate and I are staying at a hostel in Seattle during our spring break. Anybody have some interesting ideas as to what to do in Seattle besides going to Pike’s Place and doing the usual tourist stuff?
